About DSP

The vast majority of staff employed by ADEC work as a Direct Support Professional (DSP).  DSPs are the foundation of our business, working directly with people with developmental disabilities.  DSPs assist the people we serve in living as independently as possible, while encouraging self expression and personal growth.   

ADEC believes that individuals in our community living with a developmental disability are more likely to fulfill their personal dreams and goals if well-trained and caring people, like our DSPs, are at their side.
