Family Services

ADEC Family Services offers valuable services through after school and summer camp programs.  Each program strives to provide families vital support through meaningful activities for their school aged children with developmental disabilities. 

Relief and assistance for families with children of all ages and/or adults with disabilities and/or emotional /mental illness is also provided through ADEC’s Respite Services.

ADEC's Family Services also can help guide parents through the process of finding services through a United Way of Elkhart County funded project known as GPS.

GPS (Guiding Parents to Services) can help parents, guardians and caregivers tap into the time-tested experience of nearly 60 years of service to Elkhart County children, adults and families facing the challenges of disabilities.  Combine that with the vast resources of the United Way and you have the reassuring assistance and support of people who care. 

We can help you connect to others through the internet, personal face to face assistance and through access to other appropriate community resources.
